Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience (7+ years) as a Furniture Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
In-depth knowledge of furniture production processes and materials.
Strong understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and sustainable design practices.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
Lead the design process from concept to final product, ensuring designs align with the brand’s aesthetic and functional requirements.
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD or other design software.
Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure that designs are feasible for manufacturing.
Research market trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into designs.
Mentor junior designers, providing feedback and guidance to elevate the overall quality of the design team.
Work directly with clients and stakeholders to customize design solutions according to specific needs and preferences.
